Mahzad Kazempour Hite

Mahzad works on the firm's product liability and mass tort cases, and is dedicated to protecting the rights of consumers and the public.

She received her Bachelors from Santa Clara University in 2006 and joined the firm shortly thereafter as a litigation assistant. For nearly two years, Mahzad played an integral support role in the Medronic, Guidant, and Zyprexa pharmaceutical litigations. Mahzad attended the McGeorge School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2011. She returned to the Levin Simes law firm where she currently focuses on the mesothelioma, Poligrip/Fixodent, and Transvaginal Mesh litigations.

During law school, she co-founded and served as President of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), McGeorge School Chapter. Mahzad sought to protect and defend the rights of indigent clients when she served as Certified Law Student at the Office of the Public Defender. She also served as a Research Editor for the Journal of National Security Law and Policy and as a mentor in the K-12 Education Pipeline Program.
