Amy Eskin named Liaison Counsel for Northern California Wildfire Litigation
The Honorable Curtis E.A. Karnow of the San Francisco County Superior Court of California has named Levin Simes attorney Amy Eskin liaison counsel for California North Bay Fire Cases.
Amy Eskin is a trial lawyer successfully representing injured consumers nationally in personal injury, medical negligence, products liability and complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases for more than 25 years. North Bay Wildfire Lawsuits
The California North Bay Fire Cases coordinated in the County of San Francisco includes cases involving businesses and personal from the Northern California 2017 wildfires. Levin Simes represents hundreds who lost their home, lost their possessions or lost a business or business income due to the wildfires.
The coordinated cases before the San Francisco Superior Court include four types of plaintiffs:
- Individual plaintiffs, persons or business entities
- Public entities
- Class action plaintiffs
- Subrogation plaintiffs
Amy Eskin will act as liaison counsel for individual persons and businesses harmed by the wildfire, for physical injuries and damaged/destroyed property. As liaison counsel, Amy Eskin will also serve on the Individual Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee.
